Moderation of Ads
To ensure that Ads on List.am are high-quality, useful, and compliant with our rules, all Ads are reviewed by moderators. Moderation happens before publication or at any other time after publication.
How a Moderator Checks an Ad?
Moderators review Ads for the following:
- Category: Ensuring the Ad is listed in the correct category
- Title and Description: Checking that the information is accurate and clear
- Photos: Making sure all images match the Ad and do not contain irrelevant information
- Price and Parameters: Verifying that the price and other details are correct
- Prohibited Items: Ensuring the Ad does not offer banned products or services
- Compliance: Confirming that the Ad and the user’s actions follow our Posting Rules, Terms of Service, and applicable laws of the Republic of Armenia.
Moderation of new Ads
While under review, new Ads are placed in the “Moderation” tab in "My Ads" section.
Rejected Ads are moved to the “Rejected” tab in "My Ads" section, where you can view the reason, correct any issues, and resubmit if necessary. You can also delete it from the "Rejected" folder if the issue is not fixable.
You will also receive an email and in-app notification with the reason for rejection.
Existing Ads
If a moderator finds that an existing Аd violates our rules, the Аd will be permanently deleted. In some cases, repeated violations may result in a block, which will prevent the user from posting new Ads.
Editing Ads
When you edit an existing Ad, it may be reviewed by moderators to ensure it continues to comply with List.am’s rules and standards. Please note that any edits you make to an Ad will not be publicly visible until they are approved by moderation. If your edits are rejected, you will be notified with the reason for rejection and can correct the Ad before resubmitting.
My Paid Ad was rejected or removed
If your new paid Ad gets rejected during moderation, the money will be automatically refunded to your wallet. Ads that violate our posting rules are rejected or removed regardless of any applied paid services. If an Ad is removed due to a violation after the publication, no refund will be issued.
My Ad was unfairly rejected
If you believe your Ad was unfairly rejected, please contact our Customer Support and include the title of the rejected Ad.
