Cancelling a confirmed booking and troubleshooting
If you can no longer host the guest, open the booking under “Booking requests” and select “Cancel.” The guest is notified, and the dates become available again unless another restriction applies.
Message the guest and explain as early as possible. Cancelling a confirmed booking may disrupt their travel plans.
List.am does not collect payments or issue refunds. If you have already received money from the guest, arrange and complete the refund directly with them.
Why can’t I select certain dates?
They may be in the past, already booked, or blocked by the host. Your selected period may also be shorter than the minimum stay or longer than the maximum stay.
Why doesn’t this ad have a booking option?
The host has not enabled online booking for the ad. Contact them using the regular options on the ad.
What does “Expired” mean?
The host did not respond within 24 hours. The request is no longer active and List.am did not charge anything. You can send a new request or choose another place.
Why was my request declined without a reply from the host?
The host may have approved another request with overlapping dates or blocked those dates. Affected pending requests are declined automatically.
Can I change dates or guest count after sending?
No. Cancel the pending request and send a new one with the correct details.
Do I pay through List.am?
No. List.am does not collect payment or a deposit. Agree on the terms and pay the host directly.
I am a host and approved a request by mistake. What should I do?
Open it under “Booking requests,” cancel it as soon as possible, and message the guest to explain.
What happens if the host turns online booking off?
No new requests can be sent. Existing pending requests and confirmed bookings remain active until the host responds or cancels them, or until a pending request reaches its 24-hour expiry.
How do I connect an Airbnb, Booking.com, or other platform calendar?
Open the ad’s “Booking settings” → “Connect calendars,” copy the other platform’s iCal (.ics) link, and add it to List.am. To send unavailable List.am dates to the other platform, add the “List.am calendar link” there. Do not publish this private link.
