Cancelling a booking and paying for your stay
While a request is pending, open it in “My stays” and select “Cancel request.” The host is notified and can no longer approve it.
A guest cannot cancel a confirmed booking directly. Message the host as early as possible, explain the reason, and ask them to cancel it, because they have already held the dates for you.
List.am does not collect payments, so there is no payment for List.am to refund. If you already paid the host, arrange any refund directly with them.
Dates and guest count cannot be changed on a sent request. Cancel it and send a new request with the correct details.
Payment takes place directly between you and the host. List.am does not collect payment, hold a deposit, or act as an intermediary in the transaction. Agree on the amount, method, and timing with the host before the stay. The price displayed on the booking page is informational.
For a safer agreement:
- keep the conversation in List.am messages so there is a record,
- confirm the final amount, address, and check-in and check-out times,
- be cautious about requests for a large prepayment to an unfamiliar account,
- do not pay and report the ad if a request seems suspicious.
A “Confirmed” booking does not mean that payment was made through List.am.
